What's it all about?
We offer both farm gate sales and u-picking of fresh chestnuts along with seasonal gourmet preserves & chutneys, chestnut flour, chestnut and local honeys and packaged chestnut cake mixes. The orchard has approx 100 trees & is open to the public 7 days from 10am to 4pm in April & May by appointment only due to limited car parking facilities. No entry fee. Sorry, no appointment, no entry. Must bring own bags/buckets to carry the chestnuts, gardening gloves for hands as chestnut husks are prickly and please wear strong shoes (no high heels, sandals, thongs).
